A Lucas Blog Entry:

Yesterday, my family got 2 new dogs. They’re pomeranians, and they’re names are Phoebe Annabelle, and Delilah Hope. Haha, I thought it was weird that my mom gave them middle names, too ;]. Phoebe is the dark-colored one, and Delilah is the lighter one. They’re about 8 weeks old, and weigh under 2 pounds.

They’ve been sleeping a lot lately, but when they’re awake they’re CRAZY, lol! Fido, one of our other dogs, doesn’t really know what to do about the 2 new dogs. I actually think that he’s kinda scared of them, because they always bite his feet [haha even though he’s like 10 times bigger then them]. Keisha, another one of our dogs, seems to like them, but she growls at them occasionally. And, our 2 cats, absolutely hate them. Whenever they see the new dogs, they hiss and run away, lol.

Haha, thats me and Emily trying to act like were those rich people who hold their little dogs by their shoulders =P

Jon and Katie’s Blog Entry:

I (Katie) made a cake today! Without Jon though, he was off hanging out with his friends. Anyways I was watching William Sledd’s video where we was making a wedding cake and I had bought cake mix the other day with my dad so I decided I’d make a cake.. now if you saw his cake, his was actually a wedding cake sorta.. with out the fanciness. Mine was not! It was a crappy version of his without the doves and flowers, mine wasn’t even pink.

Lets get to the story..
I was finished baking the cake and I stacked the two cakes on top of each other ( I doubt you can even notice in the pictures) and I just got done putting the pink decorations on and I didn’t know what to do with it so i put to candles on the cake, one for me and the other for Jon and lit them, turned off all the lights in the room and ran and got everyone who was at the house. Then I had them (more like forced them) into acting like it was Jon and my birthday which is really in like.. 2 months? They sang happy birthday took a few pictures and waaahhla we ate the cake.. i didn’t though

Hey, everyone! Well, today my family and I went to our town’s Rib Fest. As you can see in that top image are town’s theme is COWS, lol. Its that same theme every year, and all the businesses in town dress up cows, and whoever has the best cow wins some stupid prize. Well anyways, on the way to Rib Fest, Maria took this picture, and she really wanted me to post it on here, lol.

Well, Rib Fest was fun and GOOD. It tasted really good. It was really hot outside though, and there were flies flying all around all the food =].

But, yeah thats what I did today.

One of my sisters tried out for American Idol, but since she unfortunately didn’t make the cut to Hollywood, she’s not letting me tell you guys who she is. So yeah, it’s either Emily, Maria, or Stephanie. BUT YOU’LL NEVER KNOW WHO! MWHAHA. But yeah, she’s not going to be on the TV show, because as you guys probably didn’t know, they have like 14 booths of judges that aren’t Simon and them. And you audition in one of those booths, and if you’re fit for the show, they let you go onto to Simon and them. She was really good, but I guess they didn’t think she was meant for the show.

A Katie Blog Entry:

Smokie (our old dog) died two Wednesdays ago sadly, so we got a new doggie! Her names Sophie and she is a cavachon or something like that. She bites hard I found out and likes to pull on my hair. Here are some pictures of her:

By the way, Jon and I are going to tennis camp, Monday through Thursday. We’ll probably post a blog entry when we get back!

A Lucas Blog Entry:

Earlier this week me, emily, and my dad went camping. We were planning on leaving early on Monday, but my dad lost his wallet at a gas station, so he had to get a new driver’s license and use emily’s GIRL wallet, so we finally ended up leaving at about 5:00 in the afternoon. Once we got to the campground, we unpacked everything, and put up the tent. We went fishing the first night til about midnight, and unfortunately only caught 1 tiny fish that we had to throw back. That first night I had trouble getting to bed since it was really hot out and there were tons of flies inside the tent, lol. The next day me and emily went tubing on a double tube which was SO much fun! It was really wavey on the water so it was really hard to hold on. To add on to the waviness, my dad was going really fast, and taking really sharp turns. We kept thinking that one of us would fall on the other and kill them, lol. After we were done tubing we swam outside of the boat, and me and emily swam to shore. As you walked onto the shore there was like 5 feet of sand, then there was a tall cliff of rock and dirt. Me and emily tried climbing it, but my dad told us the rock might avalanche on us or something. Right after he said that these other kids were swimming in the water near the shore far away, and the part of the cliff collapsed and they were all screaming. Dust was everywhere. It was kinda funny to tell you the truth, because nobody got hurt or anything. After me and emily saw that we swam back to the boat, scared that our cliff might collapse, lol. Anyways, we left the campground on Wednesday and went back home. It was really fun, and we’ll probably do it again next summer or something. =D
